She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) specializing in supporting individuals navigating the complexities of racial trauma, generational trauma, oppression, and racial identity issues. Marissa's expertise extends to working with veterans, and clients facing chronic illness, anxiety, depression, grief, and women's issues. As a trauma-informed clinician, she cultivates a safe, compassionate, and culturally sensitive space where clients can heal from unresolved pain that impacts their sense of self, relationships, and overall quality of life.
